About 3,500 people, according to some sources, 6000, according to others have gathered to protest this afternoon, for several hours in the University Square (cultural heart of Bucharest) against the dictatorship in place under the pretext of the COVID 19 virus: " We do not want to be slaves!" was the general motto of the evening. I was also present, on behalf of the “Worker’s Romania” Association”.

 

The “Together”” Civic Platform has asked the Romanian government and the ministers of health and national education to revoke their order regarding measures to prevent people in general and local trade union from organizing activities, to allow people to be normally treated in local and state hospitals, and to allow kids to go to classes normally, without wearing the masks.

 

Today’s huge protest was organized by Pompiliu Diplan from StareaDeLibertate (“Freedom State”).

 

The people could be heard saying we don’t want to be slaves any more”, among other things and also sang the national anthem, requiring the Swedish model of dealing with the fake pandemic to be applied in our country.

 

We also demanded the resignation of Romanian Minister of National Education, Mrs. Monica Anisie and a petition was initiated and signed on this occasion. We claim that wearing a mask at school is " a forced re-education of the younger generations, a re-education of Nazi type".

 

On September 19th, our children were forced to go to school wearing a muzzle and tied with a rope. This cannot be called education. It is a forced re-education of the younger generations and it is done in a Nazi style.

 

Beautiful and free people, coming from all over the country gave a strong signal: "We are free!", "Down with the mask in schools!" And "Up to our children, enough is enough!".

The famous Romanian director Cristi Puiu and well-known actress Carmen Tanase were present at the protest in University Square. Some of the protesters came to the event accompanied by children and also from other parts of the country.

Over 37,000 people protested across Romania today, in the country’s main cities and towns and I have reasons to believe that this is only the beginning. United we shall overcome!
